St. Joe's upsets La Salle, 70-66

Halil Kanacevic finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds and Carl Jones added 13 points as St. Joseph's upset La Salle,70-66, in Saturday's Atlantic Ten and Big Five game at the Palestra.

Halil Kanacevic finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds and Carl Jones added 13 points as St. Joseph's upset La Salle,70-66, in Saturday's Atlantic Ten and Big Five game at the Palestra.

C.J. Aiken hit a pair of foul shots with nine seconds left to give the Hawks (15-9, 5-4 A-10, 2-1 Big Five) a 69-66 lead. Then Langston Galloway's foul shot with a second left gave St. Joe's a four-point cushion.

Earl Pettis led the Explorers (17-7, 6-3, 1-2) with 17 points.
