After polling over one million men worldwide, AskMen released its "Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2012" list on Tuesday, placing Modern Family's Sofia Vergara on top.

Vergara's response? "A big thank you to all the men who desire me."

Readers were asked to base their votes on attributes they would want in a potential companion, such as brains, talent, character and of course, beauty.

In 2011, Gossip Girl's Blake Lively took the No. 1 spot. She remained on the list at No. 32 in 2012.

Naturally, models infiltrated the list, including Kate Upton (No. 2), Miranda Kerr (No. 4), Candice Swanepoel (No. 10), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (No. 20), Gisele (No.53) and Marisa Miller (No. 56).

Adriana Lima, Chanel Iman and Lily Aldridge were listed at Nos. 71-73, respectively. Kate Moss, the super of all supermodels, registered at No. 76 on the list. Girl's still got it.

Notable newcomers on the list include George Clooney's lady Stacy Keibler (No. 45), chanteuse Adele (No. 92), and burgeoning indie actress Elizabeth Olsen (No. 94).

Speaking of being overshadowed by older siblings, Pippa Middleton debuted at No. 98 and her sister Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, landed at No. 11.
