Within the span of one weekend, Solange Knowles has added two new roles to her repertoire: Aunt and model.

On Monday, NEXT Models confirmed to Fashionista that the singer sister of Beyoncé is the latest musician to be signed to the agency. NEXT also recently signed indie darling / Video Games crooner Lana del Rey.

The agency also boasts a handful of British talents like Lights signer Ellie Goulding, pop sensation Jessie J, and the ever-so-stylish-and-hip Alexa Chung.

Solange's experiences in fashion stem from a personal interest in the industry- She and Beyoncé are repeat front-row attendees of top designer shows. They also notably have endorsement deals with cosmetic companies: Beyoncé reps L'Oreal, and recently, Solange signed to become a spokeswoman for Rimmel.
