Because there are plenty of horrifying accounts to go around.

On Sunday morning, I woke up to a text from a friend recounting her Jason Wu for Target experience. It read, "Omg esther I fought some b--ches to get some of the jason wu dresses I wanted..."

In her defense, any girl who's been anticipating this line since its announcement in October probably knew exactly what she wanted, and had to show some level of aggression to get it.

After all, remember the disaster that was Missoni for Target? What self-respecting fashionista eying Wu's poplin dresses, Milu-adorned totes and sheer-paneled blouses would just stand there and lose a shot at this limited-edition collection?

Target's Style division announced that stores (most of which are already sold-out of items) will not receive additional Jason Wu for Target pieces. However, restocks online will be announced via social media. At 3:30 p.m. on Monday, @TargetStyle tweeted: "Wu hoo! Limited quantities of #JasonWuforTarget items are becoming available on the site http://tgt.bz/6016RLaK Keep checking! cc:@JasonWu"

For those who are really desperate to get their hands on the line, over 10,000 items are listed under "Jason Wu for Target" on eBay at nearly double the retail cost on average, and in some extreme cases, ten times the original value. It appears that opportunists lined up early at Target stores.

Take for example this story: Fashionista reported that two people in a Miami Target store monopolized everything from the line in under two minutes. The culprits completely swept shelves and racks of Jason Wu items, leaving other shoppers in a state of disbelief and outrage. View the clip below.

What are your thoughts? Does this reveal a huge glitch in Target's retail system? Or is it justifiable?
