Real talk with Reese Witherspoon
Looks like the real Reese is coming out! At least in her latest magazine interview, that is.
Real talk with Reese Witherspoon

Thursday night, I scrolled through the TV guide and stumbled upon Legally Blonde-- the film that catapulted young Reese Witherspoon to the A-list and made her one of the most beloved actresses in Hollywood. (Some may argue Cruel Intentions, but I disagree.)
The public's admiration for Witherspoon partially stems from the way she has carried herself through difficult moments in her personal life. Prime example: When the actress split from her hubby Ryan Phillippe in 2006, she put up a pretty fierce front.
In 2009, she opened up to ELLE stating that her divorce was, “Very humiliating and very isolating." It was a big deal for Reese to be so stark and honest with readers and fans at the time. So, leave it to ELLE to get real with its Feburary 2012 cover girl, yet again.
The typically-soft actress went edgy-chic for the shoot, which reflects her attitude in the interview. On the cover, she goes heavy on the eyeliner, which matches the black trim on her white viscose dress from Emporio Armani. On an alternative cover, Witherspoon wears a black, silk chiffon dress from Dior.
Reese, who had less than average luck selling publications in 2011, has a knack for shying away from controversy. However, Reese admits to ELLE that after her first marriage, she didn't think she would tie the knot again. What changed her mind?
Her husband, agent Jim Toth, apparently told the actress, "I’m gonna show you every day what a good partner is, what a good person is. I’m going to take care of you. I’m gonna do this so much that you’re gonna get used to it."
The two got married this past March. However, when it comes to her seemingly "perfect" life, Reese says, "I’m sick of whatever tabloid stuff or this or that story tries to portray. My life is just as realistic as everybody else’s. Whoever thinks someone has a perfect life, I’m so eager to dispel that.”
