Target announced Monday morning that the next designer to partner with the mega-retailer is 2011 CFDA Swarovski Award winner Prabal Gurung.

"It's almost like a rite of passage for new, young designers," Gurung said to Vogue in an interview.

The designer also shares in the press release that his limited-edition women's Ready To Wear and accessories collection for Target was "inspired by love." The line, comprised of nearly 80 items, will include dresses, mixed-media skirts, blazers, handbags and shoes, ranging in price from $12.99 for to $199.99 for a leather jacket.

It launches February 10 at select Target stores and online through March 23, 2013.

Let's just hope the website doesn't crash this time.
