World-renowned artist and Doylestown native Pink adds a new gig to her already-packed schedule: She's the latest face of CoverGirl.
In a release sent Monday afternoon, the tough-as-nails 32-year-old said, “I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music and now my partnership with CoverGirl to love.”
The CB West HS grad and pride of Philly joins the likes of Sophia Vergara, Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, in addition to classic CoverGirl models Nicki Taylor and Christie Brinkley. The latter serves as the longest-running face of the cosmetics brand.
“Joining a group of women who have always inspired me — to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look — is such an honor,” said Pink as part of her statement.
On CoverGirl's latest choice, company vice president Esi Eggleston stated, “Pink is a powerful and provocative role model, who has always been an advocate of individualism and making no apologies for who you are." Eggleston added, “We love the energy and confidence that she radiates, and the fact that inside and out she’s as cool as she looks."
