Although those "positive energy" prayers didn't quite work out for Tom Brady on Sunday, F-bomb dropping Gisele Bündchen should be thrilled with this news.
Once again, the Brazilian super secured the No. 1 spot on a "world's richest models" list. Last year, she topped Forbes' World's Top-Earning Models list for the seventh year in a row. On Monday, she beat Kate Moss, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks to secure the top spot on the Daily Mail's list.
However, unlike other models, much of Gisele's fortune- estimated at £96m ($151.8m USD)- comes from opportunities beyond endorsement deals.
Her current worth begins with branding and is supplemented by a very popular flip flop line, land holdings throughout her homeland (which includes a hotel), a joint-venture lingerie company with Brazil's version of Victoria's Secret, and her very own skincare line.
An advocate of eco-friendly products, the UNEP Goodwill Ambassador developed Sejaa Pure Skincare in 2010, and fortuitously, her Ipanema sandal line also sold over 250 million pairs that same year.
All this, in addition to her already-lucrative and in-demand modeling career, brings her net worth to $151 million, and it's rising.
According to a Forbes report released last year, Bündchen is the first super who's on track to becoming a billionaire. After all, good branding with a dash of Brady, and a whole lot of beauty can do wonders for a model's career.
