FEED launches in conjunction with Judith Leiber

Lauren Bush:
Political activist, entrepreneur, designer, humanitarian, fiancee of David Lauren (yes, son of great-American designer Ralph Lauren), and founder of FEED Projects, can add "luxury collaborator" to her already-impressive resume.

Bush's latest joint-project for FEED Projects is with top luxury evening handbag designer Judith Leiber. Fans and followers can acknowledge the level of craftsmanship that accompanies each clutch manufactured by the Hungarian-born Leiber. The features of the FEED 1000 clutch are as follows: A flat top with multicolor beading, FEED 1000 stamped on the back of the purse to raise awareness, all on metallic linen (in either shimmery silver or gold). However, the best part of a FEED 1000 clutch is not that each one is custom-made in Italy, but rather that each one sold provides 1,000 school lunches for under-privileged children.

From one style-conscious, world-news-enthusiast, to the next, I firmly believe organizations like FEED are raising awareness of global issues, and more importantly, encouraging followers to take action.
