Specter warms to Kagan

Sen. Arlen Specter says nice things about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan, whom he opposed for solicitor general last year, after a meeting on Capitol Hi.ll.

Specter warms to Kagan


Sen. Arlen Specter, who's getting a load of guff in the competitive Democratic primary for voting against confirming Elena Kagan as solicitor general last year, says warm things about the Supreme Court nominee after a meeting on Capitol Hill. On the first vote, he was a Republican. Now he's a Democrat. He said he has not made a commitment to vote for Kagan for the court. Here is a report from Politico.
