Gov. Rendell hits the road to rally Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.

Rendell stumps for Dems in Wisconsin

Gov. Rendell got bad news on a few fronts last week. The state failed to get the ok from feds on the I-80 tolling proposal and casino mogul Steve Wynn pulled out of Foxwoods deal in Philadelphia.

Perhaps Rendell will do better for Democratic candidates - beyond PA.

Rendell was the headliner at a Democratic dinner in Wisconsin Saturday where he urged the party faithful to turn up the volume in the political arena.

"Folks, we've got to start yelling loudly. We can't let the tea party be the only voices America hears," Rendell said at the event in Milwaukee.

The Journal Sentinel reports that Rendell called Republicans hypocrites for their attacks on health care reform and chided Republican congressmen who voted against the stimulus measure but turned up at groundbreaking events for stimulus-funded projects.
