Inky is paying former Sen. Santorum $1,750 per column

If you are The Inquirer, it’s about what you spend for each word penned by former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, a columnist for the paper since November 2007.


The Philadelphia Daily News, citing bankruptcy court documents, reported today that the former junior senator from Pennsylvania is paid $1,750 for each of his every-other-Thursday political opinion columns written under the title: Elephant in the Room.
