House Majority leader Eachus toppled by GOP newcomer

A stunner in the northeast. House Majority leader Todd Eachus (D., Luzerne) has conceded to Republican challenger Tarah Toohil.

House Majority leader Eachus toppled by GOP newcomer

A stunner in the northeast. House Majority leader Todd Eachus (D., Luzerne) has conceded to Republican challenger Tarah Toohil.

Eachus lost by at least 10 percentage points, according to unofficial returns.

Toohil, a defense attorney, takes control of the seat held by Eachus since 1997.
