Gov. Rendell is a Democrat, but that doesn't mean he's going to pull his punches. The guy calls him as he sees 'em; just ask former Vice President Al Gore - when a court ruling went against him during the Florida recount, Rendell, then the DNC chairman, went on MSNBC to say that Gore should "concede now." It turned out he was prescient, but some Democrats were might ticked.

Now Rendell has taken a swipe at fellow Democrat Joe Sestak, saying the congressman and Senate candidate should not have skipped Monday's Senate debate, hosted by the Chamber of Business and Industry in Hershey. Rep. Sestak was at a fundraiser on the Heinz estate with Sen. John Kerry (D.,Mass.) and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry.
