Dems to launch video attacking Toomey's Wall St. past

A still from the anti-Toomey commercial Democrats have prepared

The Democrats don't have a U.S. Senate nominee yet in Pennsylvania, but they're ready to take on the Republican candidate, Pat Toomey.

Party officials are planning to release a video soon that highlights Toomey's past as a Wall Street trader and to blast him for opposition to proposed financial-market reforms.

"Democrats are going to work very hard between now and November to make sure voters know about Toomey's record profiting off the reckless excesses of Wall Street, his coddling of bankers' interests while in Congress and his opposition to job saving legislation while a candidate," a Democratic strategist said.

Opposed "jobs bill" (that didn't work)...opposed "affordable health care" (that a majority want to repeal). wow, that ad sounds like a winning strategy to me.

Toomey is just another typical Republican whose motto is "steal from the poor and give more to the rich". Sad how politically ignorant most of the American populace has become.

From Wikipedia: After graduating from Harvard with a political science degree, Toomey was hired by Chemical Bank in 1984, where he was involved in currency swap transactions. In 1986, Toomey was hired by Morgan, Grenfell & Co., where he dealt in multiple foreign currencies, interest rates, and currency-related derivatives. Doesn't sound like he would be a fan of reforming the banking system

This ad looks like a pro-Toomey advertisement. The Wall Street "reform" bill is favored by Wall treet bankers because it creates a trillion dollar bailout "slush" fund for them to use as their piggy bank. The "jobs" bill spent $875 billion and delivered no jobs. And "affordable healthcare" is otherwise known as socialized medicine, is opposed by a majority of Americans, and the CBO has already reconsidered and told us it will in fact not be affordable, but instead run additional multi-billion dollar deficits that we will have to pay for as far as the eyes can see.

What jobs? 70% of economists say the almost trillion dollar spending bill did nothing for the economy or jobs...that we be no worse off if they did nothing and would actually be a trillion less in the red. And affordable health care? Many in Pennsylvania will see their premiums increase by 80% to 150% just from the ObamaCare mandates. A policy for a 35 year old and his family runs about $700 in Philly. That same exact policy costs $1,800 in Massachusetts which has all the ObamaCare mandates that are going to crush the pockets of Pennsylvanians and businesses in PA. Do you really think your salary won't be cut when premiums skyrocket from ObamaCare. These far left liberal Democrats are a disgrace to America...which I'm sure pleases many of them.
