DNC Chairman to Boost 6th CD's Manan Trivedi

Democratic National Chairman Tim Kaine will visit Philadelphia tomorrow to raise money and campaign for Dr. Manan Trivedi, the party's U.S. nominee in the suburban 6th District. Kaine is to be accompanied by Rep. Mike Honda (D.,Calif.), a leading Asian-American leader who is vice-chairman of the party.

They'll hold a fundraiser and then meet with Trivedi's South Asian American Leadership Council. (Trivedi is the son of Indian immigrants, and his candidacy has been a source of pride to Indian-Americans across the nation, who in turn have been a strong fundraising base.)

More details as they become available.
