Building Trades to Endorse Specter in D primary

Philadelphia's Building and Construction Trades Council plans to endorse Sen. Arlen Specter (D.,Pa.) for reelection on Wednesday. Not a surprise, considering Specter's championing of the Delaware River dredging project for years and years, a prime wish of organized labor. But it could help the Republican-turned-Democrat in his tough primary battle with U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak (D.,Pa.) of Delaware County.
