Today, I'm out in the yard pruning blueberries.
In the basement, I've planted the first lettuce and chard under the grow lights. It's all part of my effort to eat really, REALLY local.
In tomorrow's column, I'll be writing about compact fluorescent light bulbs.
I'm keeping this short because it's a test post to make sure everything works. But meanwhile, thanks for joining in!
Hey, is this blog now working?— TheDon- Thank you for posting the picture of the four shades of white energy saving lightbulbs. Clearly, my parents have the 6500K bulb installed in their GLOWING living room. No wonder I feel like I'm in a Kmart when I visit home! I've been postponing a conversion to the energy efficient bulb largely because of their extreme brightness. However, now that I see the ranges of white, I'll give the warm-toned bulb a shot.— darlene
