O'Hair to throw first pitch at Phillies game

Sean O'Hair spent Tuesday working on his golf game preparing for this week's AT&T National at Aronimink Golf Club, but he's taking some time as well to sharpen his pitching.

The 28-year-old O'Hair, of West Chester, will be throwing out the first pitch at Tuesday night's game between the Phillies and the Boston Red Sox at Citizens Bank Park.

"I'm so freaking nervous," O'Hair said Tuesday before appearing at the Golf Association of Philadelphia's junior clinic at Waynsborough Country Club in Paoli. "That's all I'm thinking about right now."

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound O'Hair was asked if he had seen the first pitch delivered recently by Washington Wizards star John Wall, whose throw carried about 10 feet in the air before nose-diving to the ground.

"Yeah, I saw that," he said. "I might do the same thing. I'm going to have to work on it."
