What’s it really going to cost to attend this year’s big Budweiser Made In America music festival?
Depends when you buy.
While earlier reports have a two day (Aug 31-Sept 1) pass to the Ben Franklin Parkway mega-show going for either $99.50 or $117 (with Ticketmaster processing fee factored in) that’s the pre-sale, early bird special price that’s good “while supplies last” and was also available to trusting types before the lineup was announced yesterday.
Wait too long - like a week - and the two-day, general admission deal to catch biggies like pop diva Beyonce, heavy rockers Nine Inch Nails, Latin pop crossover sensation Miguel, hip-hop legends Public Enemy, French indie rockers Phoenix, EMD star deadmau5 and pop rock flavor of the week Imagine Dragons goes up to $150.
At the moment, pre-sales are open just to holders of American Express cards (through Sunday at 10 p.m.). Come Monday at 10 a.m., (through Tuesday at 10 p.m) any music fans can RSVP to the Made in America Facebook presale by visiting http://bit.ly/MIAFest_RSVP.
General public sales start next Wednesday at Ticketmaster.com. But then the two day ticket price goes up to $150, related a local Live Nation representative this morning.
Consider yourself warned.
