Two people were injured last night when they were hit by an SUV that jumped the sidewalk at 16th and Walnut Streets in Center City after it was hit by a taxi.

Two people were injured last night when they were hit by an SUV that jumped the sidewalk at 16th and Walnut Streets in Center City after it was hit by a taxi.
The conditions of the victims -- a man and a woman -- have not been made public. Broadcast news reports said the woman suffered a broken leg.
Police are investigating the chain reaction crash, which occurred about about 9:30 p.m.
