MLK Day of Service today

Greater Philadelphia residents participating in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service today will be working on  projects throughout the region. Some 65,000 people are scheduled to participate in 300 projects.

The signature project is at the Liacouras Center at Temple University, where 3,000 people will be working on more than 100 different projects, ranging from building playground equipment to refurbishing computers to being trained to weatherize homes.
