SugarHouse supporters pack Casino board hearing

Inquirer staff reporter Jennifer Lin reports:

About 400 people have packed into a meeting room at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for a hearing by the state Gaming Control Board on a license modification request for the SugarHouse Casino on the Philadelphia waterfront.

Members of the building trades, which support the request, make up the largest contigent.

Testimony will include comments from 16 opponents, 9 supporters and two neutral people.
