A Montgomery County woman has been convicted of stealing $78,000 from a youth soccer league, newspapers report this morning.
Maryann Grant, 37, of Red Hill, faces a maximum 7 to 14 years in prison when she is sentenced. No date was set for sentencing.
A jury in Montgomery County Court convicted Grant yesterday of taking the money during her four-year tenure as treasurer of the Valley Soccer Club, for which her son once played.
The Times Herald of Norristown and the Bucks County Courier Times reported Grant's conviction in this morning's editions.
