S.J. man found dead on roadway in Vineland

Inquirer staff writer Sam Wood reports: Vineland police this morning identified a South Jersey man found stabbed to death on a Cumberland County road in the predawn hours on New Year’s Day. Ronald C. Rollines, 41, of Millville was discovered lying on the roadway shortly after 4 a.m. near the intersection of the Maurice River Parkway and Garden Road in Vineland, police said. Rollines, who had been stabbed multiple times, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have made no arrests and an investigation is continuing. Vineland police this morning identified a South Jersey man found stabbed to death on a Cumberland County road in the predawn hours on New Year’s Day.

Ronald C. Rollines, 41, of Millville was discovered lying on the roadway shortly after 4 a.m. near the intersection of the Maurice River Parkway and Garden Road in Vineland, police said.

Rollines, who had been stabbed multiple times, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have made no arrests and an investigation is continuing.

Another man was found dead in Cherry Hill behind a popular bar.
