The Roots today announced the lineup for the 2nd Annual Roots Picnic at Penns Landing.
Philadelphia's pre-eminent hip-hop band will play host to Public Enemy, TV on the Radio, Santigold, The Black Keys, Antibalas and other acts during the daylong festival on June 6.
According the concert organizers, Public Enemy will recreate its landmark album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back with live backing by the Roots.
Tickets go on sale Friday and are available through www.Livenation.com
