Kia Gregory reports from the Cherry Hill Mall
At the Cherry Hill Mall, shopping traffic was calm and steady by noon. Some shoppers said they were there out of tradition. Some were curious about what bargains there were to be had. Others, like Amanda Smith, just “didn’t feel like staying at home.”
Smith spent 20 minutes standing in line at Old Navy to buy two pairs of jeans for $15 each, the stores big promotion.
“I almost gave up,” she said of the long line, “but it was worth it.”
