Inquirer staff report:
A man who says he’s the serial bandit who robbed five TD Bank branches since Aug. 5 has surrendered to police.
The man, not yet identified because he hasn’t been charged, is in custody in Abington, scene of the latest heist on Monday, officials say.
An investigation is under way and more details are expected later.
The serial robber also hit TD Bank branches in Christiana, Del. (Aug. 5); Jamison in Warwick Township, Pa. (Aug. 10), Richboro, Pa. (Sept. 1) and Warrington (Sept. 6).
