Police ID shooting victim in W. Kensington

The Inquirer's Peter Mucha reports:

Police have released the name of a man gunned down early yesterday morning in West Kensington.

Tarik Bey, 25, was found shortly after 1 a.m. near where he lived, in the 100 block of West Wishart Street.

He had been wounded in the head. He was pronounced dead at 1:38 a.m. at Temple University Hospital.

Police know of motive and have no suspects.

The homicide was the city's 61st so far this year, the same number as last year.
