Inquirer staff report:
Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting death of a man in the Nicetown section early this morning.
The victim, 21, was shot in the head, neck, chest and shoulder, around 12:30 a.m. at West 17th and Bristol Streets, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital shortly before 1 a.m.
A police spokeswoman could not confirm reports that a suspect was in custody.
