Homicide detectives are investigating the slaying of 33-year-old man found with multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of his Southwest Philadelphia home.

Homicide detectives are investigating the slaying of 33-year-old man found with multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of his Southwest Philadelphia home.
 
 
Police were called at 12:32 a.m. to the 5500 block of Belmar Steet for a report of a person with a gun. When they arrived they found Charles Brown, 33, unresponsive on his front porch.
 
Medics rushed Brown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 1 a.m.
 
Investigators have no suspects or motive in the shooting.
