I guess i'm not suprised that the police commissioner, despite doing excellent work is unable to bring peace to this city. I can't imagine the thought but Philadelphia is probably more dangerous than some villages/towns in Iraq or Afghanistan. We need new answers to the never spokens questions about our problem of violence.
YO pete from boothwyn shut up so what if he was wearing a pink sweat suit. All ya'll people need to stop about stuff ya'll don't know about.Do ya'll know him? Did ya'll ever send time with him? Have ya'll ever talked to him? No ya'll didn't!I grew up with him. He was my cousin so the only person who has the right to talk is me.
So I took her to my crib, and everything went well as planned
But when she got undressed, it was a big old mess, Sheena was a man.
Gosh...if only there was a way to stop the gun violence?? I noticed all the recent deaths in the inky were people being shot. Not stabbed, beaten or anything else...just shot. I wonder why that is?
This man was wearing a pink sweatsuit and a blonde wig!
Well what are we supposed to do about this? Call City Hall, have sanitation come out and remove the body. Jeeez.

Seriously MizzBlue, how often does an innocent person, "minding his own business in this cruel city" get shot multiple times and dumped...probably never, even here, ever.

Hey, isnt it illegal to dump a body in the Park? Will the Inquirer endlessly calling for stricter "park dumping" laws?

these comment are sick and this happened near the Platt, hey, Because your contributions are currently under review, why don't you come down to the Platt on Sunday with your little "Where are the 10,000 chipmonks?" comment, see what happens to you, your silly, a person died and that's the best you can come up with ?
Gee!!! Another murder in Phila., so what else is new?
MizzBlue, About your 911 comment: If some thug comes after me, my hand will not tremble while dialing 911. I'll shoot him first, then call for an ambulance. Dialing 911 and expecting the cops to come in and rescue you from a violent criminal is like standing in the rain waiting for someone to let you borrow an umbrella.
I AGREE WITH YOU MIZZBLUE! REAL SICK COMMENTS!
.....beep beep beep, this just in, the sun will rise in the East and set in the west. Come on people, this town should be razed and be for businesses only. The rest of the land can be a for an animal only park.
Unbelievable comments, it could have been a person minding his own business in this cruel city who was robbed and dumped! Get real people it doesn't matter to these thugs anymore, so it could be YOU next. Talk is cheap behind the keyboard, until your hands are trembling trying to dial 911 after one of these ruthless people are after you. They go to the suburbs too, and Jersey. Wait until you have to dial 911 or something happens to one of your family members, remember what you said about someone's child.
Philly has gotten so that you can't find a vacant lot to dump a body in anymore. Dang renovators.

White guy?
The Philly detectives have found one thing that ties all of these shootings together-the invention of gunpowder.
Uh, say there FMT wouldn't that mean one MORE trouble maker in your park?
where are the 10,000 men?

These type of reports used to be followed with "we need to call for a state of emergency, once elected I will do that". I say "when Mr. Mayor"?
