Man, 19, shot dead in East Oak Lane

Inquirer staff writer Zoe Tillman reports:

Police are investigating an early morning shooting that claimed the life of a 19-year-old man in East Oak Lane.

The victim, identified as Zakee Abdur-Rahman, of the 1900 block of North 71st Street, was shot three times around 5:30 a.m. on the 6300 block of  North 12th Street.

He was pronounced dead on the scene at 5:40 a.m.

Police say they have no suspects or motives at this time.
