Hearing set for alleged teen 'executioners'

Inquirer staff report:

A preliminary hearing is set for this morning for two teens charged in the execution style slayings of a police cadet Explorer and his friend in South Philadelphia.

Police allege that Derek Barnes, 19, and Anthony Satchell, 16, gun downed the victims even after they realized they were not their intended victims.

The police cadet, Harvey Lewis, 15, and Dominique Randall Smith, 17, were each shot in the head on April 19 as they walked home on the 1600 block of South 29th Street.
