The party is over as stagehands and teamsters take down the Sunoco Welcome America stage on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Jim Dunne, a supervisor with the staging company, Mountain Productions out of Wilkes Barre, says it takes a crew of 40 workers 2 1/2 days to erect the stage but only a day to tear it down.
The 10-day annual festival drew hundreds of thousands of spectators to the city.

I was disappointed there was no patriotic music on the program for the July 4th concert. Would have been okay but there was no music of ANY kind with the fireworks. But, hey, it was free.
Did anyone else notice how there was very little patriotism displayed in the parade, as well? It's guess it's not PC to be an American on July 4th. Welcome to the new world order, according to Obama. Socialism here we come.
