Girl, 6, hit by school bus at Fort Dix

Details are sketchy, but a 6-year-old girl was struck by a school bus at Fort Dix this morning and was taken to Cooper University Medical Center.

Fort Dix spokesman Pascual Flores said he did not know the extent of the girl's injuries.

At least one of her parents is with the Air Force, so it's likely the girl lives on Maguire Air Force Base, he said.

She might attend the elementary school on the Burlington County base or one outside the military complex, he said.
