Fan Watch: The scene at McKenna's Bar on Frankford Avenue in Mayfair

Discouragement started to set in at McKenna's Bar on Frankford Avenue in Mayfair minutes after the tarp was pulled over the field at Citizens Bank Park shortly before 10 p.m.

McKenna's was packed, shoulder to shoulder. It took a few minutes to get from the door to the bar.

"It's disheartening," said Bridget Collins, 38, "because now you're sitting here waiting for the game to be over, and you want to be celebrating."

She was concerned that the delay would break the momentum of the game and psych out Cole Hamels.

"And now every person in here is saying theyre going to call out of work because they're going to be here all damn night."
