Joelle Farrell writes:

At Broad and Shunk, shortly after midnight, thousands of fans packed the streets. About 25 bicycle-mounted police kept watch, even as fans repeatedly threw bottles at them. With every bottle thrown, the police would push out, forming a perimeter with their bicycles, and then break the bottles in the street, so they could no longer be thrown. The mood was tense, but never ignited. Most fans were heading north on Broad, and, at one point, the police mounted and slowly started riding north, as well.

Meanwhile, somebody threw a bottle through the front window of the Commerce Bank at Broad and Sansom. Police made their way to bank, and regained order.
