Inquirer staff report:

Three former Villanova swimmers have completed a relay across the English Channel, according to their blog.

Tori DeLollo, Trista Felty, and Kiersten Rosenberg, undertook the feat to raise money to fight mulitple sclerosis in honor of a former teammate, Lauren Schulman, who is battling the disease.

DeLollo reports on the blog that they completed their 21-mile plus crossing in “freezing” water last night in about 12 hours.

“Today our arms are really sore, it’s hard to raise them at all,” she writes. “All our faces are burnt, our backs have a wonderful speedo tanline, and we’re still pretty physically tired. But these things were totally and completely worth the effort for Lauren and for people all over dealing with MS.”
