Motorist alert: Day 2 of Schuylkill Expressway clean-up

Eastbound traffic on the Schuylkill Expressway at the Conshohocken Curve will once again be restricted to one lane once the rush hour ends this morning so work crews can remove mud and debris from the highway.

Inquirer staff report:

Eastbound traffic on the Schuylkill Expressway at the Conshohocken Curve will once again be restricted to one lane once the rush hour ends this morning so work crews can remove mud and debris from the highway.

The clean-upis scheduled to start about 9:30 a.m. and end about about 2 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays though the work zone or plan alternate routes.

The mud spilled onto the highway during Sunday's torrential thunderstorms, closing it for hours.
