Car overturns, closes I-95

A car overturned this morning on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia, closing northbound lanes of the highway at Woodhaven Road.

Inquirer staff report:

A car overturned on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia, closing northbound lanes of the highway at Woodhaven Road for 30 minutes at the start of the morning rush hour.

The car ended up in the grassy median of the highway before 6:15 a.m. There is no word on possible injuries.

Northbound traffic was directed off the interstate at Woodhaven Road until the lanes were reopened about 6:45 a.m.
