Inquirer staff writer Matthew Spolar reports:

The EZ-Pass toll lanes on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge are down this morning and officials say the electronic toll system may have been knocked out by by lightning.

The system went down sometime during the night, Liz Verna, Burlington County Bridge Commission spokeswoman, said, and a crew has been working to repair it.

Philadelphia-bound motorists will have to pay the $2 toll in cash until the problem is fixed.
