Reality dad Jon Gosselin says he has put $230,000 back into a joint account he shares
with his estranged wife Kate as the couple continues their bitter divorce battle, the AP reports.
Gosselin criticized his wife for not showing up Monday for a scheduled court hearing in Norristown. He also says she still has not explained how she spent $33,000 in joint funds.
Gosselin said a Montgomery County judge ordered the couple to continue arbitration on issues related to the split
and scheduled their next court date for late November.
The TLC reality show “Jon and Kate Plus Eight” has chronicled the couple’s lives while raising their eight children.
But the Gosselins filed for divorce in June after weeks of reports of marital discord and infidelities, which both
spouses denied.

A preliminary check of the forecast raises the specter of rain during the day Wednesday, opening day of the World Series.
Game One is set for 7:57 p.m. Wednesday in New York, and a half-inch or more of rain is expected during the day, with a high in the upper 50s. By evening, though, the rains should let up, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday evening in New York -- Game Two -- looks promising, with clear skies and a high in the 60s.
The Series is slated to move to Philadelphia on Saturday, which is Halloween. According to an early forecast, trick or treaters might see some showers during the day, but no rain is mentioned overnight.

Officials in Gloucester County have suspended county-run seasonal flu shot clinics
because of a shortage of vaccine.
The county has given 13,000 doses already and is expecting another 12,000 to be delivered, according to the Gloucester County Times.
While swine flu vaccines are getting the most attention, demand seems to be high for the seasonal shots, too.
Last week, southern New Jersey’s Cherry Hill Township suspended it clinics. --AP

A South Jersey man faces up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges he twice travelled to western Pennsylvania to have sex with a teenage girl he met on the Internet.
Andrew Luko, of Bridgeton, pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts each of statutory sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault, the Tribune-Democrat of Johnstown reports this morning.
Cambria County prosecutors said Luko met the girl twice in 2007 to have sex with her when she was 14 in March and after she turned 15 in July. Police tracked Luko using motel records and his vehicle registration. Sentencing is set for Jan. 13.

A New Jersey man reportedly has been arrested and charged after boasting in a YouTube video that he was a pedophile.
Gary Wolchesky, 21, of Middletown, Monmouth County, was charged yesterday with endangering the welfare of a child and is being held in the Monmouth County Jail on $100,000 bail, the Asbury Park Press reports.
After being alerted to the YouTube boast, investigators found multiple images of children under 16 engaged in sexual acts on Wolchesky’s computer, the newspaper said. The YouTube video has been taken down.

Utility crews were working to remove the tree, which toppled on the 4400 block of N. Gratz Street in Nicetown, and restore power.

The cheering had barely died down from last night’s Phillies’ NLCS victory and the Championship t-shirts were being silk-screened in South Jersey and shipped to waiting merchants.
The Modell’s Sporting Goods Store at the Snyder Avenue Plaza in South Philadelphia opened before dawn this morning with the freshly minted memorabilia.
Among the early birds were lifelong Phillies fans Mike Jackson and Willy Tuggles.

A teenager fleeing police in a stolen SUV slammed into a car at an intersection in East Mount Airy this morning, seriously injuring its 70-year-old female driver, police said.
The 18-year-old thief was arrested after he smashed into two other cars and the SUV, its front end mangled and without one wheel, came to a grinding a halt on Anderson Street off East Mount Airy Avenue, police said.
The woman, who suffered fractures in the 8:30 a.m. crash, was reported in stable condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Police were chasing the stolen SUV when it slammed into the woman's car with such impact the vehicle ended up on the sidewalk.
The teenager, not yet identified, is expected to be charged with car theft, assault and other offenses.
