600 Pa. Guard troops return from Iraq

The return of Pennsylvania National Guard troops from deployments overseas continued today with the arrival at Fort Dix of about 600 soldiers who served in Iraq.

The return of Pennsylvania National Guard troops from deployments overseas continued early today with the arrival at Fort Dix of about 600 soldiers who served in Iraq.

After reunions with family members, the soldiers reported to barracks to catch some sleep before starting the demobilization process, a spokesman for the fort said.

Hundreds of Pennsylvania Guard soldiers have returned through Fort Dix in recent weeks.
