Here's an interesting post from Kevin Kelly, writing on  Spoutblog -- his list of  10 "quintessential" Philadelphia movies:

1. Rocky
2. The Philadelphia Story
3. Mannequin
4. Philadelphia
5. The Sixth Sense
6. Dawn of the Dead
7. National Treasure
8. Trading Places
9. Witness
10. 12 Monkeys

In the comments, tell us your top 10 - where's Invincible, for instance?

Yeah.... I suppose Philadelphia and, admittedly, Rocky, are Philadelphia... but.. I don't know why any of the rest would be called "quintessential" other than being filmed in Philly. ...It's great they were filmed in Philly, but, from my recollection, they don't have much of anything to do with the city.
