10-year-old charged with stealing skateboard at gunpoint

A 10-year-old Camden boy has been charged with stealing a skateboard at gunpoint.

Inquirer staff report:

A 10-year-old Camden boy has been charged with stealing a skateboard at gunpoint.

Police have not recovered a handgun but say the youth faces robbery and weapons charges stemming from the stickup Tuesday.

The 11-year-old victim told police the 10-year-old thief pointed a gun at him and demanded his skateboard at MacArthur Avenue and Wainwright Drive in South Camden.

The youth was arrested nearby a short time later, police said.
