Homecoming King: Has Richards moved on?

Mike Richards returns to Philadelphia on Saturday as a member of the Los Angeles Kings. But has the former Flyers captain gotten over the fact that the GM Paul Holmgren shipped him out of town in the offseason? The Daily News' Frank Seravalli caught up with Richards on Thursday in Newark, N.J., before his Kings battled the Devils. After that, he broke it all down with Cinesport's Noah Coslov. Also, Bob Cooney handled the Flyers' regular practice duties on Thursday as the team looks for it's first 4-0 start since 1995.

Hope Richie has the crosshairs on Pronger's kneecap for a one-timer. Then he can move on.

The Flyers made great trades this off season.....I think it worked out well for the Flyers and the Kings too.

Another stupid Philly.com time waster. To be honest, I really don't care whether he has "moved on" or not. He was traded and now plays for LA...his problem. With respect to him having dinner with his former teammates - perfectly natural to connect with old friends when you are visiting your former hometown. I'll be at the game tomorrow night and hope we all welcome him back warmly. Then it's "Lets Go Flyers!"

I was pissed when Richards was traded...but I am a fan of the team... not just Richards. Fact is, Flyers got better and so did the Kings. No one wants to get screwed in a trade, but if each team gets what they want and benefit from it, then so what... that is the point, right? The Flyers are better, faster, smarter, and more of a "team" and will be good for years. I'm over it... he should get over it. Let's Go Fly-ers!!!

And the richards vashing continues. He plays his old team once a year and its not like he is right up the road he is 3000 miles away. Didn't see any articles like this when Upshall game back last year and had dinner with some of his old team. Gagne didn't do it because he wasn't here for long and had a back to back game. Richards and other players have said they love this city and the fans why wouldn't they want to see old friends. People wonder why richards hate the media because of stuff like this. Get's me sick when the media hate a player. You don't here this stuff about other players being out when I have seen with my own eyes a few time players on this years team out having a few drinks. They are 20s single and worth millions what are they suppose to do.

By the way why don't we see an article about how Schenn had a hat trick tonight. He was the main part of the trade. Yet because once again Homer leaves us with even worse cap problems then last year schenn can't even come up. All because of mastermind Homer pushing 1.2 mill in bonuses to this years cap when they can't push any of this years to next because of no CBA. Lets have some answers about that instead of articles about a player that was traded and first time back had dinner with old friends.
