reading that headline i was ready to defend Jagr, then after hearing this video, see that it was just to get a reaction. Jagr gets a goal tonight, stars shine on the big stage.

Most likely a Rangers fan. We all know what breed of person (I use that term loosely!) follows New York sports. There's not an intelligent one in the whole city. And let's not even get into the ugliness!

It sounds like eaglelover1979 has a crush on Jagr. LOL.

Jags is playing well, it's only a matter of time before he starts lighting teams up. He's been on the doorstep several times but hasn't managed to squeeze it past the goalie. He's made some great passes to Giroux as well.

let's be honest about jagr... he's playing ok, but we're already starting to see some laziness creeping in. his backchecking is a joke, and has been for a decade. his tendency on offense is to skate to the blue line ahead of everyone and wait there. there isn't much happening on the rush when he's out there. once we're set up in the zone, he can make some things happen, but that's if he doesn't quit too early.

tockeyhockey - At this early point in the season I have to agree. Jagr always had the rep of being a cherry picker and waiting for the rush, especially after the red line rule was abolished. His +/- rating of 0 even though he has 4 assists has some merit of concern and he has had some god awful turnovers (especially during the Sens game) but I think that will change after he gets used to Lavy's system. I am looking for Jagr to get that first goal tonight, get the monkey off of his back, and to start cruising.
