Roster moves; Salary cap breakdown
Flyers made two roster moves on Sunday, along with a weekly salary cap breakdown.
The Flyers announced today that backup to the backup goaltender Johan Backlund was loaned back to Adirondack, along with extra defenseman Marc-Andre Bourdon.
Neither player saw game action with the Flyers.
That means that the real backup goaltender, Brian Boucher, and seventh defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen are ready to return from injured reserve. Today was the first day they were eligible to return to the roster.
While it may be a long ride back to Glens Falls, N.Y., both Backlund and Bourdon enjoyed a nice boost in pay to watch from the sidelines during the Flyers' first road trip of the season.

Note: Mike Rathje's salary does not count as he is on the Long Term Injured Reserve (LTIR) list, but the Flyers are still paying him that amount.
Bonuses: James van Riemsdyk is due another $804,166 and Ryan Parent is due another $33,333 – both bonuses are paid at the end of the season. Those numbers count against the cap but there is a 7% allowance cushion on top of the $56.8 million cap that allows those to be paid. Next season and beyond, full bonuses will count against the cap during the season.

Backlund earned $4,145 per day he was with the big club and Bourdon pulled in $4,534.
In comparison, Danny Briere – the Flyers' highest paid player – earns $33,679 per day of the season. There are 193 days in the 2009-10 season.
