Pronger to have surgery

Chris Pronger will have back surgery tomorrow in New York, the Flyers said.

He will have a disc removed by Dr. Frank Cammisa at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Mike Richards had surgery today to repair torn cartilage in his left wrist. He will begin rehab in 4 weeks.

Blair Betts had his left pinkie repaired and will begin rehab in 4 weeks.

Andrej Meszaros had successful surgery to repair torn cartilage and a torn ligament in right wrist.
